Alice Cooper has to be one of my favorite “Christian” rockers and it may be unfair to label him as such, but he has made his faith public. Just because he believes in God though doesn’t mean he isn’t going to treat you to a night of Halloween horrors. Per MSNBC.com, Universal Studios is building a tribute to his album Welcome to My Nightmare and its upcoming sequel.
Welcome to My Nightmare came out in 1974, you can hear a rendition of the song on Alice Cooper’s guest shot on The Muppets Show video included here. It is a concept album about the nightmares of a kid named Steven.
Says Cooper about the upcoming amusement park creation, “This will be a nightmare that will haunt visitors’ dreams for a long time to come.” MSNBC goes on to say it will feature a guillotine, decapitations, electric chairs, a sadistic insane asylum, predatory snake and giant black widow spiders. I guess Cooper wants to scare the holy hell out of you or “into” you
depending on your perspective.
