I was thinking the exact same thing. I watched “Pump Up The Volume” last night and felt a lot of similarities to a movie but I couldnt figure out which one then I saw “Radio Rebel” on Disney later that day and realised that’s they movie it reminded me of. It is such a bad rip off “Pump Up The Volume” and if they were going to remake it I would never ever let Disney do that as they have no respect for real issues as their audience is children and pre-teens. shan x

Wow! I almost wish I didn’t know about this movie. I love Pump Up The Volume so much, and its an actually original movie; its disgusting that Disney ripped off and bastardized it.
