FREETHUNK CARTOON FAVORITES FOR 2006

I handpicked these cartoons from all of the material I drew in the last year for the Freethunk Series and I narrowed them down to 12 top cartoons. There were others that I liked but one of the hard things to do as a cartoonist is using commentary to make someone laugh. These cartoons made me chuckle again and I'm a pretty hard critic when it comes to my own work. So these are my personal favorites from this past year.

2006 felt like a long year because it was one incident after another that impeded my progress on Freethunk, as well as the other sites I'm trying to develop. The biggest one of course was the gamescript used for Braincade which caused a dispute with my hosting provider and countless crashes (don't ever use Micfo Hosting Services by the way) and then of course the topper was 4 days without power because of a windstorm when I had plans to do a Christmas parody animation.

So I'm going to try to plow ahead in the new year and aim high. Disasters will probably strike again but I usually make progress even if it's an uphill climb. I'm hoping other creative freethinkers are inspired by this site to start their own comics. As you can see by some of the people I've featured on the front page, there are emerging signs of interest.
