INAPPROPRIATE CHRISTIAN HUMOR
As Christianity "evolves" it pushes against its own boundaries of taste
What bothers me about this skit is not the humor, it's actually kind of funny. But this shows how Christianity evolves as pop culture evolves. Christianity trails behind the content rating of the mainstream but eventually picks it up. There will be more along these lines with scatological humor, sexual humor, and probably twisted violent humor--just Christianized in some manner. Nonbelievers used to engage in this kind of humor just to piss off the religious prudes but I don't think that will continue to work. I think Christians are lightening up and will use what was once off limits to their benefit--because they are constantly rewriting their own MPAA guidelines.
BTW, if you don't get the reference in the video about what the youth camp kids did just Google it.
